High Beam Headlamp Bulbs

• Adjust the headlamps after performing any work that could have affected their adjustment.

Removing

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Turn light switch into 0 position.

Left Headlamp

- Remove reservoir for power steering => [ Reservoir for power steering,
loosening at bracket ] .

Right Headlamp - Vehicles with 6-cyl. Gasoline Engine

- Remove air filter housing => [ Air Filter Housing, Removing
- Vehicles with 6-Cylinder Gasoline Engine ] .

Right Headlamp - Vehicles with 4.2L MPI Engine

- Remove air filter housing => [ Air Filter Housing, Removing
- Vehicles with 4.2L MPI Engine ] .

Right Headlamp - Vehicles with 4.2L FSI Engine

- Remove air filter housing => [ Air Filter Housing, Removing
- Vehicles with 4.2L FSI Engine ] .

All:

- Release securing guides - arrows - and remove headlamp housing cover.





- Disconnect harness connector - 1 - at high beam bulb.





- Disengage wire clamp - 3 - and - 4 - and remove bulb - 2 - from housing.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Insert the new bulb into the housing without touching the bulb with bare hands.

- Secure the bulb with spring clip.

- Reconnect harness connector and close housing cover.
