Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

Test Conditions

• Battery voltage at least 12.5 V.

• Fuel Pump (FP) control module (J538) OK; check "Guided Fault Finding" using the vehicle diagnostic tester.

• Fuel tank minimum 1/3 full.

• Fuel filter OK.

• Fuel lines OK (not plugged, not kinked).

• Ignition switched off
