Transmission, Securing to Engine and Transmission Holder

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Holding Plate (VW 309)

• Engine and Transmission Holder (VAS 6095)

Procedure

• Transmission secured with the Workshop Crane (VAS 6100) => [ Transmission, Transporting ] Transmission, Transporting.





- Install the Holding Plate (VW 309) on the Hook and Support Tool (T40197).

- Using the Workshop Crane (VAS 6100) place the transmission into the Engine and Transmission Holder (VAS 6095).

• Venting for the transmission housing and final drive must be closed before turning a filled transmission with oil pan upward on the engine and transmission holder.
