Microphone Unit in Front Roof Module Overview, through 10.2008

The microphone unit in front roof module (R164) in installed in the front interior light (W1). Depending on the equipment, there are up to three microphones installed.

One microphone ( telephone microphone (R38) ) is connected directly with the telephone transceiver (R36). The other microphones are connected to the digital sound system control module (J525) (from Standard MMI).

1. Microphone (blue) for the telephone transceiver (R36)

2. Radar Interior Monitoring Control Module 1 (G303)

3. Microphone (black) for the digital sound system control module (left-hand drive)/telephone transceiver (right-hand drive)

4. Inside microphone (R74) (black) to the digital sound system control module (from the standard sound system)

5. 6-pin connector (T6c)
