CD Changer (R41) through 10.31.2008

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Radio Removal Tool (T10057)

• Fiber Optic Pliers Repair Set (VAS 6223)

• Protective Cap For Cable Connector (VAS 6223/9)

- If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault Finding".

Use Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

- Turn off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

Removing

- Insert two clips on (T10057) in release slits on CD Changer until they engage. Points on the grip eyelets of tool face outward.






- Remove CD Changer from mounting frame.

- Disconnect all of the connectors from the CD Changer.

- Connect the (VAS 6223/9) - 1 - to the connector for the MOST-Bus - 2 -.






- Remove (T10057) , push locking tabs on CD Changer to do so.

- Unclip the front trim piece from the CD Changer.

Installing

- Connect all harness connectors.

- Slide CD Changer into mounting frame until it engages.
