Mirror Adjusting Unit Mount, Removing and Installing

Removing

- Remove the door trim and window frame trim.

- Remove the speaker trim and the treble speaker bracket.

- Disconnect the electrical connector by pulling the retainer - 3 - back - arrow A - and pressing the release - 4 - down.






- Pry the grommet - 2 - out of the exterior mirror seal.

- Remove the retaining studs from the door in the exterior mirror area.

- Lift the exterior mirror seal - 1 - off the door while removing the bolts - arrows -.

- Remove the mirror adjusting unit mount while guiding the wiring harness out through the body opening.

Installing

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Exterior Mirror Assembly Overview, Vehicles through May 2009 ] Exterior Mirror Assembly Overview, Vehicles Through May 2009.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install the exterior rearview mirror seal.

- Install the treble speaker bracket and speaker trim.

- Install the door trim panel.
