Lane Change Assistance Control Modules

Removing

- Remove the right luggage compartment trim panel cover.

- Cut the cable tie - 3 - and move the foam piece - 2 - to the side.





- Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 -.

- Remove the rear lid trim panel.

- Remove the rear bumper cover.

- Remove the wiring harness - 4 - through the opening in the body - arrow -.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 3 -.





- Remove the bolts - 2 - and - 4 -.

- Remove the lane change assist control module - 1 - from the mount on the bumper - arrow -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

When installing, install cable ties at same location.

- Install the cover on the rear bumper.

If the bumper cover was removed, the lane change assistance control module (J769)/ (J770) must be calibrated again. Refer to => [ Lane Change Assistance, Preparing for Calibration ] Lane Change Assistance, Preparing for Calibration.

- Install the rear lid trim panel.
