Seat Pan Cover and Upholstery, Standard Seat

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Upholstery clip pliers (V.A.G 1634)





1 Cover and Upholstery

• Removing

- Remove the seat. Refer to => [ Standard Front Seat ] Standard Front Seats.

- Remove the backrest. Refer to => [ Standard Front Seat Backrest ] Standard Front Seats.

- Remove drawer. Refer to => [ Drawer, through 06.2006 ] Standard Front Seats.

- Remove the screws - 3 - (2x).

- Remove bracket - 2 -.

- Disconnect connector for seat heater - 5 -.

- Remove fastening strips - 4 -.

- Remove cover and upholstery - 1 -.

• Installing

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.

- Cut the upholstery clips - 2 -.

- Remove cover - 1 -.

• Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Be sure to note the following:

- When installing new upholstery clips, use (V.A.G 1634).
