Upper A-pillar Trim

• Removal and installation are same for right and left.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Pry lever (80 - 200)

Removing





- Remove lower roof frame trim. Refer to => [ Roof Frame Trim Panel ] Roof Frame Trim Panel.

- Remove the upper A-pillar trim - 1 - by hand near the rubber seal - 2 - until it is possible to insert the pry lever (80 - 200) into the upper clip.

- Using the pry lever (80 - 200) pull the clips out of the A-pillar one after the other - arrows A -.

- Pull the upper A-pillar trim out of the instrument panel - arrow B - and remove.

Installation

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

• If the trim clamps remain in the body mounting points, remove them and insert them in the trim.

• Check clamps for damage or deformation, replace if necessary.

- Insert the upper A-pillar trim - 1 - into the instrument panel mount and the lower A-pillar trim - arrow -.





- Clip the upper A-pillar trim in and stretch the door seal lip over.
