Mirror Adjusting Unit Mount

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Removing

- Remove the door trim..

- Remove the speaker trim and the treble speaker bracket..

- Disconnect the electrical connector by pulling the retainer - 3 - back - arrow A - and pressing the release - 4 - down.






- Pry the grommet - 2 - out of the rearview mirror seal.

- Remove the retaining studs from the door shell in the exterior rearview mirror area.

- Lift the exterior rearview mirror seal - 1 - off the door shell while removing the bolts - arrows -.

- Remove the mirror adjusting unit mount while guiding the wiring harness out through the body opening.

Installation

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Exterior Rearview Mirror Overview ] Exterior Rearview Mirror Overview.

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Install the exterior rearview mirror seal. Refer to => [ Installing ] Door Seal.

- Install the treble speaker bracket and speaker trim..

- Install the door trim..
