Headlamp Housing

Danger to life due to high voltage.

Removing






- With the ignition switched off, disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

- Remove the lock carrier cover.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 4 -.

- Remove the screws - 2 and 5 -

- Loosen the lower screw - 3 - on the headlamp using a long wrench.

Ignore items - 6 and 7 -.

- Remove the headlamp - 1 - toward the front from the body.

Installing






Tightening specification, refer to => [ Bi-Xenon Headlamps with Cornering Lamp Overview, through MY 2011 ] Bi-Xenon Headlamps With Cornering Lamp Overview, Through MY 2011.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- When installing the headlamp - 2 - in the mount - 1 -, make sure the guide tracks on the headlamp engage into the guides on the mount - arrows -.

Headlamp must slide gently into mount and without using force.

- When sliding the headlamp - 4 - in, make sure the headlamp ventilation - 3 - slides evenly into the mount - 2 - for the ventilation hose - 1 - - arrow -.






- Tighten the screws - 2, 3 and 5 -.






- Install the lock carrier cover.

- Connect the battery. Refer to => [ Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
