Rear Parking Aid Sensors (G203)/(G204)/(G205)/(G206)






Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Component location: In rear bumper - arrows -.

Removing

- To remove outer sensor, grip it from below behind bumper cover.

- To remove inner sensor, remove rear bumper cover. Refer to Removal and Installation.

- Press both retainer tabs to side - arrows - and press sensor - 2 - from outside towards inside.






- Disconnect electrical harness connector - 1 - at sensor.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install the cover on the rear bumper. Refer to Removal and Installation.
