Hood Hinge

Removing






- Remove the hood. Refer to => [ Hood ] Hood

- Detach gas-filled strut - 2 - from the lid hinge. Refer to => [ Gas-Filled Strut ] Gas-Filled Strut.

- Detach line channel - 1 - on the lid hinge by releasing the catches.

- Mark the installation location of lid hinge - 3 - with a marker for reinstallation.

- Remove the bolts - 4 - and - 5 -.

• Screws - 4 - and - 5 - are different lengths.

- Remove the lid hinge.

Installing






• For the correct tightening specifications, refer to => [ Hood Assembly Overview ] Hood Assembly Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Adjust lid hinge stop screw - 1 - to dimension - a -.

• Dimension - a - = 34 mm.

- Install the lid hinge according to the marking applied during removal.

- Adjust the hood. Refer to => [ Hood, Adjusting ] Hood, Adjusting
