Vacuum Brake Booster Check Valve: Service and Repair

Check Valve, TT RS

The check valve is installed in front of the brake booster.

Removing

- Remove the engine cover - 1 -.






- Remove the vacuum hoses from the check valve.

Installing

Make sure the check valve is installed correctly.

• The check valve must allow air to flow in the direction of the arrow. Valve must remain closed in opposite direction.

• The check valve is open in direction of the brake booster.

- Install the vacuum hoses on the connections on the check valve.

• Moisten the connections on the check valve with water to make it easier to install the vacuum hoses.

- Install the engine cover.
