EGR Vacuum Regulator Solenoid Valve and EGR Potentiometer






EGR Vacuum Regulator Solenoid Valve and EGR Potentiometer

Removing

- Remove the engine cover - arrows -.





- Remove the noise insulation - 1 -.





- Loosen the hose clamp - 2 -, lift the retaining clamp - 1 - and remove the air guide hose.





- Remove bolts - 1 - and - 3 -.





- Loosen clamp - 5 - on the throttle valve control module (J338) and remove the air guide pipe - 2 -.

Ignore - 4 -.

- Disconnect the connector - 3 -.





Ignore - 1, 2 and 4 - and the - arrow -.

- Remove bolts - arrows - and remove throttle valve control module.





- Disconnect the connector - 1 - on the EGR vacuum regulator solenoid valve (N18) with the EGR potentiometer (G212).





- Remove the bolts - 2 - and - 3 -, the EGR vacuum regulator solenoid valve and the EGR potentiometer.

Ignore - 4 -.

Installing

Tightening specifications, refer to => [ EGR Vacuum Regulator solenoid Valve and EGR Potentiometer Assembly Overview ] EGR Vacuum Regulator solenoid Valve and EGR Potentiometer Assembly Overview.

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

Replace O-ring.

- Install throttle valve control module (J338).

- Install the air guide pipe. Refer to => [ Charge Air Cooler Assembly Overview ] Charge Air Cooler Assembly Overview.

- Install the air guide hose with the connector coupling => [ Install the Air Guide Hoses
with the Coupling ] Charge Air Cooler Assembly Overview.

- Install the noise insulation.
