Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• 2 mm Wire

Removing






- Vehicles with Multi Media Interface (MMI) basic equipment: Remove the center console insert.

- Vehicles with MMI comfort equipment, remove the multimedia system control head (E380).

- Release the retaining clips - arrows - using a 2 mm wire - item 2 -.

- Press the access/start authorization button - item 1 - out of the multimedia system control head - item 3 -.

• The illustration shows the multimedia control head instead.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Vehicles with MMI basic equipment: Install the center console cover.

- Vehicles with MMI comfort equipment: Install the multimedia system control head.
