Affected Vehicles

Condition
After performing a vehicle specified actual comparison, the tiptronic paddle shifters may not operate.

The transmission can still be shifted by using the shift lever located in the center console.

Technical Background

This vehicle was built with an incorrect multifunction steering wheel, and has since been retrofitted to the 3-spoke sports steering wheel, but the PR code has not yet been updated. The current PR code for the vehicle is incorrectly configured in the AG server as 2ZQ (leather wrapped multi-function steering wheel), and must be updated to lxx (leather wrapped sports steering wheel).

SVM Update Instructions

1. Follow all instructions in the attached TSB 2011732 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.

2. Run SVM Code: USLRA3MFL.

Tip: When running the update, choose SVM update for vehicle conversion. Run all actions specified by the SVM and accept any changes to the 5F or 16 modules that are prompted when running the update. This SVM code does not affect the software level of any modules; it is only to update the PR code in the system.

3. Verify the operation of the tiptronic shifters via a road test.
