Remove and Install

REMOVING AND INSTALLING WATER PUMP


Remove radiator.






Unscrew mounting bolt (1).

Installation:
Tabs of washer (2) must engage in grooves of flange (3).






Temperature Controlled Viscous fan clutch:
Hold pulley with Special Tool 11 5 030 and unscrew nut (1).

Important:
Left-hand threads - turn nut clockwise to unscrew.






Take off flange and remove pulley.
Detach bar (1).






Loosen hose clip.
Remove water pump.

Installation:
Replace gasket.
