Cylinder Head Gasket, Replace

Preparation
- Remove cylinder head, Cylinder Head Remove and Install
- Clean sealing surfaces on cylinder head and block surface with a sealant remover and a hard wood scraper.
- Check levelness with a standard steel ruler, machining cylinder head and block if necessary.

Installation
- Use only OEM Quality headgasket, the holes and openings of which for the coolant are matched precisely.

NOTE: A gasket of original thickness or a 0.3mm (0.012 in) or thicker gasket, to prevent reduction in combustion chamber size, can be installed on a machined cylinder head. Coat bores with a brush-on universal sealant before installation of the timing case cover.
