Replacement of Shock Absorbers
MODELS:
All except M3 and M5
Situation:
Research has shown that on the above models, if one front or rear shock absorber must be replaced due to damage, and the car has under 30,000 miles, the other shock absorber on that axle does not have to be replaced automatically. Also, the replacement shock absorber does not have to be replaced by manufacturer.
This information supersedes any previous information requiring replacement of shock absorbers in pairs on the above referenced models.
