SUBJECT: BMW 1986 Gasoline Engine Campaign
Statement: Please be reminded that the BMW 1986 Gasoline Engine Campaign ends on December 31, 1987.
All claims for repairs performed BEFORE this date must be received at BMW N.A. before January 31, 1988 to comply with applicable claim submission time limits.
Claims for repairs dated on or after January 1, 1988 CANNOT be processed.
The list of Service Information Bulletins on the back side is provided so you may delete or update your S.I. Bulletin binders.
The technical procedures/specifications contained in many of these Bulletins are still valid. This will be addressed separately and in detail in January 1988.
Warranty coverage is limited to defects in material or workmanship, in accordance with applicable 3 Year/36,000 Mile Limited Warranty and Emissions Warranty statements.
Please discard the Service Information Bulletins listed below. They are invalid as of January 1, 1988.
