Clutch Assemble Inspection

- Measure clutch disc for wear (A).
- Check clutch disc for cracks and the torsional damper for tight fit of spring elements.




- Visually inspect pressure plate for cracks, wear and burnt spots.
- Check pressure contact surface for warpage.




- Visually inspect rivets for wear and tight fit.
Replace a pressure plate with loose or worn rivets.

- Check flywheel for scoring.
- Check grooved ball bearing in crankshaft for easy movement, replacing if necessary.
