SUBJECT: Power Windows Sticking
MODEL: E 30
Complaint: When the window is in its fully raised position, it sometimes may not lower when pressing the window switch.
FIGURE 1:
Correction: Adjust the window glass to window regulator as follows:
1 - Remove door trim panel.
2 - Lower window glass until the two regulator to window attachment bolts are accessible (Figure 1).
FIGURE 2:
3 - Loosen both bolts and slide the window glass by hand, to its uppermost position on the regulator (Figure 2).
4 - Hold the window glass in this position and tighten the two attachment bolts (Figure 2).
5 - Replace door trim panel.
