SUBJECT: Engine Oil Dipstick Removal Effort

MODEL: 750iL

Complaint: Excessive effort required to remove engine oil dipstick.

Cause: Smooth the sealing section of oil dipstick tube.

Procedure: - Remove windshield washer fluid tank.

- Detach oil dipstick tube from engine.

- Smooth the sealing section (top inside 30 mm) of oil dipstick tube with
400 grit sandpaper.

- Wash and blow out all sanding residue from oil dipstick tube.

- Install oil dipstick tube and windshield washer fluid tank in reverse sequence.

- Start engine and check for leaks.

- Check windshield washer operation.
