A/C Compressor Clutch Does Not Engage

A/C Compressor clutch does not engage "^D^206 Status list/44 A/C relay" indicates "ON" and ^D^900/04 IHKA defect code overview" indicates "No defect code stored"

Possible cause:
Fuse F9, relay working circuit, refrigerant low pressure switch, refrigerant high pressure switch, incorrect refrigerant level, A/C compressor clutch with quenching diode or connections in working circuit defective

NOTE: The A/C relay is not driven by the IHKA control unit for as long as the A/C relay is stored as defective by the IHKA control unit.

Test prerequisite:
Correct refrigerant level, fuse F9 and system voltage OK

NOTE: In the case of defect "A/C compressor clutch does not engage" in the Series 750i, the lock sensor additionally installed in these vehicles must be checked first.
