CRIMP CONNECTOR INFORMATION



Typically, a correct "factory type" crimp connection is as illustrated.



Important crimping procedure notes:

1. When wire stripping prior to crimping, the BMW crimping pliers provide an exact length insulation stripping feature (see below).

2. The electrical connector crimp opening must always correspond with the conductor size (refer to repair manual or parts fiche).

3. All electrical crimp connections must be examined to verify that the conductor crimp is tight and firmly imbedded into the intended conductor. Never allow wire insulator material to be trapped within the conductor crimp.
