REPLACING RUBBER MOUNTS OF THRUST STRUTS

Always replace both mounts!
Remove thrust strut. Service and Repair




Press rubber mount out and in with a press and Special Tool 31 1 052/053 as well as a pressure pad (1).




Installation:
Remove gease on rubber mount and in thrust strut bore.
Arrow on rubber mount faces mark on thrust strut.




Installation:
Same amount of protrusion (A) on both sides.
