Emergency Running Abilities

Besides the possibility that the engine can still run if one injector group should fail, the Control Unit can replace three sensor readings with fixed values in case of failures.

However, performance and driveability will be affected. The sensors that have emergency running values are:

- Airflow Meter for two conditions:

Idle Throttle closed

Cruise or Power Throttle opened

- Intake Air Temperature Sensor - Replacement value: 30° (86°F)

- Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor - Replacement value: 80°C (176°F)
