Attachment Spark Plug Application Chart

SPECIAL NOTES:

1. The BMW Special Tool Combinations listed below will facilitate spark plug installation.

2. Torque specifications for unlubricated spark plugs (i.e. no oil, grease, etc. on threads)

Standard Engines: 20-30 N-m (15-22 ft.lb.)
Motorsport Engines: 15-25 N-m (11-18 ft.lb.)

3. Symbol (t) indicates platinum spark plugs may be used in place of the standard type. However, for all other applications, platinum spark plugs are not approved.
