Battery Voltage

Injection Electronics (Motronic Control Unit). Wiring Diagram:

1. With the engine running check power supply to the DME control unit (control unit is located in the glove box), see COMPONENT LOCATIONS

^ Red/blue wire (terminal 37) = approx. 13-14.5 volts If not check for alternator output and voltage regulator operation, possible voltage drop at the DME main relay and wiring, and insufficient V-belt tension. Repair or replace component(s) as necessary.

^ If the power supply is OK, the DME control unit may be defective.
