F4 Old SRS Reset
With the ignition switch in the "Off" position, insert tool into diagnostic socket until display illuminates (**).

NOTE: Applicable to Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) using Siemens control module only. Check the control module for manufacture identification. Application and ID


- After a few seconds, "F1" will appear on display.

Scroll through the function menu by pressing the "FUNC" button repeatedly until you have reached "F4".
Leave the ignition "Off" and press "Enter" button.

- Display should show two dots ".." to indicate reset in progress.

Turn the ignition "On".

- After a few seconds, the display shows "F4" again, reset is complete.

Switch the ignition "Off" and remove the tool.
