Flow Of Diagnosis E1:

1. Be sure to verify the complaint! Use the Driveability and Repair Worksheets.
2. Always check for applicable TSB's.
3. Refer to ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTICS for fault code extraction. Be sure to review CHECKING THE BASICS.
4. Depending upon whether fault codes are present or not, follow the steps as outlined in the FLOW OF DIAGNOSIS.
