SUBJECT: Electrical Troubleshooting Manual - Diagnostics Procedures - Supplement # 4

MODELS: 5 Series (E34) and 7 Series (E32)

General
Information: Over the past year. several troubleshooting sections have been added to the Diagnostic Procedures Manual (P/N 89 89 1 000 297, Supplement # 3). These sections have been issued in the form of Service Information Bulletins, and consist of the following system:

- Encoding of Control Units
- M50 Engine
- THM-RL Transmission
- SRS (Fault 17)
- ASC+T

In order to ensure that all current and future Diagnostic Procedures Manuals are updated and complete. these sections have been packaged together as Diagnostic Supplement # 4, and assigned part number 91 00 0 000 008.

Please check all copies of the Diagnostic Procedures Manual in your dealership for the inclusion of these sections. The pages in question are:
