IHKR E38 CHANGES FROM IHKR E34 (IHKR/F3)

- While the IHKR E36 system operates much the same way as E34 IHKR Systems (temperature regulation, flap control, etc.), the control panel, control module, housing assembly (and all major internal components) are physically different.
- The E36 components are, in general, smaller and less complex than their E34 counterparts.
- The E36 mixing flap is, for instance, one flap serving both left and right halves of the housing and has only one layer (IHKR E34 mixing flaps are split left/right and each side has three layers).
- Unlike E34 IHKR Systems, IHKR E36 does not have an auxiliary coolant pump to provide supplementary coolant flow to the heater cores.
