Trouble Code 5 (Pressure Regulator)

PRESSURE REGULATOR
Explanation
The pressure regulator is checked completely by the control unit during the initialization phase by way of brief activation. During operation, a defect is detected by internal feedback of the signal.

Substitute Program
- Fault indication, - maximum pressure, - emergency operation.

Possible Cause
Wire or winding of pressure regulator defective.

Troubleshooting
Perform component activation in clock cycle. Connect test lamp between Pin 53 and Pin 5 (-> Lamp should flicker slightly). Check wires and resistance in accordance with component testing.
