IHKR2 HOUSING ASSEMBLY







- The IHKR2 housing has a blower resistor pack instead of a final stage unit. The location is similar, but on the other (left) side of the housing.
- The left and fight footwell flap stepper motors are eliminated.
- The remaining stepper motors (mixing flap motor) fresh air flap motor, and recirculating air flap motor) do not run after the ignition is shut off; instead, they remain in their last positions until the engine is restarted.







- The housing has two drains instead of four.
- The housing is revised to require only a single flap for the front footwell and rear floor outlets on each side of the cabin; the separate flaps, connected by linkage, for the front and rear areas are deleted.
