"BAVARIA C PROFESSIONAL" radios contain a test mode, with which various types of internal information can be displayed and various operating conditions set.

Starting test operation:
Press button "*", followed by simultaneously pressing buttons "8" and "0" within 8 seconds of switching on the unit. the basic menu appears.




The entire test is menu controlled.
The available test functions can be interrogated via the basic menu.
Various codes for the different junctions appear in the C-display for this purpose and these junctions can be activated by operating the relevant key located below the multi-function keyboard.

The different codes activate the following functions:
1. SYN: Setting synthesizer to fixed frequencies
2. ADW: Display of input values on 8 analog-digital converter
3. NF: Display of volume, bass, treble and fader values on sound control module in dB
4. LCD: LCD test
5. TAB: Output of stored frequency tables
6. GAL: Activation of one of three GAL tables
7. SN: Output of serial numbers and software status

In addition, the software status of the front software (week and year) appears in the B-display.

The test is stopped by pressing the key below "END".
LCD Test (LCD):
Four different test patterns are switched on in series for all light emitting diodes (LEDs) during the LCD test:
1. All LEDs switched on
2. Chessboard pattern
3. Chessboard pattern inverted for second test
4. All LEDs switched off

The test can be stopped at any time by pressing key "0", but also returns to the main menu after display of all four test patterns.

Road Speed Dependent Loudness Control (GAL):
With help of this test one of the three road speed dependent loudness tables is activated, through which one each road speed dependent loudness offset can be determined and reported to the radio.
the instantaneously activated table can be read in the B-display.
the table number is stored in EEPROM.
Return to the main menu is accomplished by pressing the key below "END".
