51 45 030 Removing And Installing Trim For Instrument Panel (lower Section)

Disconnect battery negative lead.
Remove and install panel on instrument carrier.
Remove and install radio receiver.
If necessary, remove and install complete on-board monitor.







Unclip shock absorber and catch band.







Unclip wooden finisher strip.







Lift off outer cap (1) and unfasten screw.
Unfasten screws (2).







Remove screws (1 and 2).
Remove finisher strip (3).







Unscrew screw.







Unfasten screw and lift trim panel backwards to remove.







Unscrew screw.







Unfasten screw and lift trim panel backwards to remove.







Unfasten screws.







Lever out instrument panel lower section at bottom, pull out towards rear and lift out to right front door.
