Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

- Switch off ignition.




- Twist and pull off connector (1).




- Remove hose from idle speed actuator in rubber gaiter (2).
- Unfasten hose clip and remove bellows.




- Unfasten nuts (3 and 4).
- Remove suction filter housing with mass air flow sensor and rubber gaiter.




- If necessary, unfasten clips (3 and 4).
- Disconnect intake filter housing from mass air flow sensor.




Installation Note: Install housing support in rubber mount.

- First install intake snorkel.
- Interrogate fault memory of DME control unit, check faults in memory, rectify faults and clear fault memory.
