Replacing Toggle Catches On Rear Left and Right Vent Windows

Removing trim from rear roof pillar (C-pillar),








Unscrew bolts.







Unfasten screw and remove toggle catch.

Installation:
Install correctly.

Vent Windows:

Version with electric vent window:
If applicable, remove toggle catch (1) from drive shaft (2). If drive shaft (2) movement is stiff, wrap in clean cloth and brace with pliers.


NOTE:
If the drive shaft cannot be dismantled,
remove drive shaft for electric for electric vent window.







Remove drive shaft for electric vent window:
Remove side trim panel,

Lift out clips and fold down insulating mat.







Release screws and remove cover.

Installation:
Check installation position of drive shaft on drive unit for subsequent installation.







Unscrew screw.
Remove drive shaft (1) with toggle catch (2).







Clamp drive shaft (1) firmly (protect against damage) and remove toggle catch (2).







Installation:
Partially remove cover (1). Insert drive shaft (2) and locate in drive unit.
Check function.
