COMPLAINT

The following issues are currently known:

1. "Back" button is missing after the "Change" button in the menu bar has been selected.

2. An incorrect CIP version may be displayed on the "Online update" screen after a JETStream update.

3. Once the installation has been completed, the subsequent reboot of the SSS R1 may not be carried out correctly.

4. It may no longer be possible to use the GT1 after selecting "Update software"

5. In some cases, no status display (white screen) appears for a few minutes if a measures plan is cancelled.

6. FASTA server configuration query appears twice in the message history.

7. No FASTA data has been transferred for a long period of time.

8. Individual coding/programming process stages (e.g. Clear fault memory, full coding) may be displayed in the final report with error code 14031.

9. The session does not start from the GT1 terminal. An error message ("Bad request") appears instead of the "Continue" button.

10. SSS goes into maintenance mode during the day, and it is no longer possible to start a session.

11. The user interface may show "# 4" following a full installation using Progman V21.2.

12. After a new installation, error message may appear when searching for Online updates - "The SSS installation data could not be determined. (Code = 45124, Msg = 45042)".

13. E36: The last digit is not displayed when codes are entered using the virtual keyboard.

14. E36: DME control unit MDS410 cannot be programmed.

15. E36: It is not possible to update the programming of the EPROM ([1][2]DME MDS41.0 EPROM).

16. E36 / E38 / E39 / E46: Retrofits and conversions may or may not be offered on vehicles with ZCS even if they are not valid for the vehicle concerned.

17. E53: If errors are shown in the final report due to aborts (programming/coding/CKM), the details of the relevant control unit are sometimes missing after the ":".

18. E53: After successful programming, the final report shows incorrect number of remaining programming attempts for the affected control unit (always 14).

19. E53: The buttons for the following retrofits are missing in Progman: Seat belt reminder and DVD eject lock.

20. E53: Vehicle information may be mixed up between different sessions when more than one E53 session is active on the SSS.

21. E65 with option 611 (Night Vision): The measures plan states that enabling codes must be imported even though neither the NVE control unit nor the night vision camera need to be re-enabled.

22. E65: After replacement of the DME control unit, CAS calibration for DME control units on the 12-cylinder engine models is not displayed as successfully completed.

23. E60 / E90: On CCC vehicles, there is a possibility that the MOST ECU's can only be programmed using DIAGBUS.

24. E60 / E65 / E90: Programming of the CAS control unit may abort with error "2020" (E65) or "7015" (E60, E90).

PROCEDURE

1. Button is hidden behind the "Minimize" button, no workaround.

2. Ignore the incorrect CIP version displayed.

3. In the event of an error, reboot by pushing and holding in the SSS power button.

4. Proceed as follows: 1. Disconnect the GT1 cable and wait until an error message notifies you of the loss of connection. 2. Reconnect the cable. 3. Update the SSS list. 4. Select the SSS again and end the session in the usual way.

5. Wait until the next screen appears. This may take a few minutes.

6. There are no negative effects so you may disregard.

7. Check all FASTA and Online service settings. If everything is correct reinstall Progman. However, the existing FASTA data will be lost.

8. The process for which an error is displayed must be repeated in the event of this error.

9. The session name entered on the terminal must not contain any spaces.

10. Go to "Operating State" on the SSS, press "Cancel" and wait about 1-2 minutes.

11. Restart the system manually.

12. Select "Online service," confirm setting by pressing the "Continue" button.

13. Ignore the display. Code is still accepted even though it is not shown.

14. No Workaround available.

15. No Workaround available.

16. Ignore the nonapplicable retrofits and conversions.

17. The control unit concerned must be determined based on the action carried out.

18. Ignore the incorrect display. When error 10022 (CIP) is displayed during [1][2]DME programming, the control unit may no longer be programmable.

19. Request a new central coding key (ZCS), that includes the missing retrofit through PuMA.

20. Only program one vehicle of this series per SSS.

21. If night vision camera functions correctly, it is not necessary to import a new enabling code.

22. The first CAS calibration fails when DME control unit is replaced, repeat CAS calibration manually.

23. No workaround currently available. Vehicles are programmed using DIAGBUS in the event of a fault.

24. When programming the CAS module press the continue button within 1 minute after switching ignition OFF.

Additional notes:

All: A MOST connection must be established between the OP(P)S and the vehicle when programming vehicles with a MOST bus.

E65: A battery reset must be carried out after programming a vehicle produced 03/05 or later if CD (Control Display) was part of the measures plan. However, oil level information will then be lost =>

Solution: run the engine at idling speed for 20 minutes.

E65: In isolated cases, the DME control unit for 12-cylinder engines aborts programming with error code "2082 - Error clearing flash." This concerns control units with HW* number 7537117 (integration level 0312500 to 0503810) and earlier. The control unit then no longer responds. Workaround: power reset.
