Fault In Sunroof

Position loss in the event of voltage dip
If several voltage dips occur in the vehicle in short succession within the supply voltage range of the sunroof module (e.g. loose contact at plug connector), this may result in the sunroof module losing the stored initialization values (position data).

As a result, the sunroof no longer reaches the open, closed and lift end positions and the anti-trapping protection is triggered without a trapping situation occurring.

Remedy
Examine cause of voltage dips and eliminate. The sunroof module must then be re-initialized.
