51 13 065 Removing And Installing/Replacing Trim On Left Or Right Headlight Housing (Coupe, Convertible)

Build status up to 03/2003:
Version with headlight cleaning system:

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove jet nozzle of headlight cleaning system.







Unclip inner trim.
press trim downwards out of brackets (1) and feed out hook (2).

Build status from 03/2003:
Version with headlight cleaning system:

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove jet nozzle of headlight cleaning system.







Unclip trim (1) at point (2) and feed forward out of lower catches.







Carefully feed out trim (1) at front side section (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation:
Retaining lug (3) must not be damaged.
Make sure retaining lug (3) is correctly seated.
