Replacing Control Unit For Left Xenon Headlight

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove headlight

Up to 10/2003:







Release screws (1) and hose clip (2).
Remove protective cap (3).

Installation:
If necessary, replace seal for protective cap (3).







Turn ignition unit of xenon lamp (1) counterclockwise through approx. 45 degrees and remove.
Pull out ignition unit of xenon lamp (1) through opening in protective cap.
Remove control unit for xenon headlight.

From 10/2003:







Release screws (1).
Remove control unit for xenon headlight (2) from xenon headlight (3).
