Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove battery cover or open right luggage compartment trim panel Removing and Installing/Replacing Battery Cover





Loosen nut (1).
Tightening torque 61 21 1AZ Specifications.
Disconnect battery negative lead (3) and secure at side.
