65 50 011 Removing And Installing (Replacing) Video Module For On-board Monitor







IMPORTANT:
Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD protection).







NOTE: Follow instructions for handling optical fibres.







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- E72 Only: Disconnect Both negative battery cables
- Disconnect battery negative lead
- Remove luggage compartment trim on left.
- Remove left storage compartment







Release screws (1).
Feed out video module (2) complete with holder towards top.







NOTE: The number of plug connections (1) and screws (2) can vary, depending on the video module version.

Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release screws (2) and remove holder from video module for on-board monitor.







Replacement:
Carry out vehicle programming and encoding.
After replacing the video module and programming, it is absolutely essential to reset the TV standard of the country in question.
