The type plate can be located in the engine compartment or on the B-pillar.






The type plate shows, in addition to the vehicle identification and homologation numbers and the weight specifications, some data pertaining to the testing of general-inspection-related systems: the adjustment specifications for the headlights and the engine code and the opacity value for the emissions test. Further general-inspection-related systems can be ascertained from the optional extra numbers.
