Wiper Gear Box: Service and Repair


1. Disconnect battery ground cable and remove cowl vent screen or grille.
2. Disconnect wiper motor electrical connector.
3. Remove wiper arm and blade assemblies.
4. Loosen transmission drive link to motor crank arm attaching nuts, then disconnect drive link from crank arm.
5. Remove right and left transmission to body retaining screws and guide transmission and linkage through cowl opening. On full size models equipped with round motor, remove transmission retaining screws from transmission being removed.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
