Throttle Body Idle Air/Vacuum Signal Housing

Idle Air / Vacuum Signal Housing:

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the electrical and vacuum harness connectors.
3. Remove the Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve.
4. Remove the Idle Air / Vacuum Signal Housing screws.
5. Remove the Idle Air / Vacuum Signal Housing assembly and discard gasket.
6. Clean the gasket mounting surfaces to ensure a good seal.

CAUTION: Use care in cleaning old gasket material from the machined aluminum surfaces. Sharp tools may damage the sealing surfaces.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the Idle Air / Vacuum Signal Housing gasket.
2. Install the Idle Air / Vacuum Signal Housing
3. Install the Idle Air / Vacuum Signal Housing screws and torque (starting in the center and moving outward) to 3.4 Nm (30 lb in).
4. Install the Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve.
5. Connect the electrical and vacuum harness connectors.
6. Connect the negative battery terminal.
