Chart 3 Hi Blower Only

CHART 3 HI BLOWER ONLY









Circuit Description: Based on a signal sent from the BCM, the programmer sends a variable voltage to the power module, which is then amplified and sent to the blower motor. The programmer monitors the blower voltage so that the signal can be adjusted to achieve the desired blower motor speed.

Test Description: Number(s) below refer to circled number(s) on the diagnostic chart.

1. Checks to see if fault is due to open feedback circuit or faulty blower signal.
2. Checks to see if fault is due to programmer, including terminal contact or open in signal circuit, including BCM.
